Customize your dream trip — these sample itineraries are just a few of the ways to explore.

Day 1: Karibu Tanzania - Welcome to Tanzania!

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Travel Guide who will transfer you to your hotel, where you can unwind and soak in the vibrant African atmosphere. The drive to Arusha is approximately 1h30m, if your arrival time is during the day, you may see people alongside the ride, this will be a great opportunity to learn more about Tanzania just after arrival. You will get to the lodge/hotel in good time for check-in before dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you'll depart the lodge at 7:00 AM and set off for Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic lunch in tow. You'll descend into this self-sustaining caldera, which is 600 meters high and spans 10 miles, formed by volcanic activity. As you explore the crater floor, you'll have opportunities for game viewing, as it is home to a diverse range of wildlife. You'll enjoy lunch in one of the designated picnic areas before continuing your game drive through this unique ecosystem, where you may even spot the rare black rhino. The crater is known for its high population of predators as well. You'll also visit Lake Magadi, a large, shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern corner of the crater, where you can see numerous flamingos, hippos, and various water birds. In the evening, you'll ascend from the crater and return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha Day in Leisure

After breakfast at lodge, you will drive to Arusha Coffee lodge for SHANGA Tour, a social enterprise, which employs people with disabilities to create unique and high-quality handmade jewelry, glassware and homewares incorporating recycled materials. These products are sold in the Shanga shop in Tanzania, as well as around the world, with profits being reinvested back into developing opportunities to employ more people with disabilities. After the excursion, you will have lunch at Arusha coffee lodge. After lunch you will drive to Cultural Heritage, the biggest Gallery in Africa for souvenir shopping before you transfer back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Game drive enroute to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you'll drive towards the Serengeti via the cooler regions of Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might come across wild animals like baboon, vervet monkeys, warthogs, buffalo etc. As you enter Serengeti from the Southern gate of the park, you will be welcomed by beautiful open grassland that allows excellent sightings of wildlife roaming the grassy plains. Despite boasting abundant wildlife, Serengeti is best known for the Great Migration where wildlife, zebras and antelope move in an annual pattern seeking fresh grazing. You will drive to the camp to check-in, have lunch and rest before you head out for an afternoon game drive. Serengeti has a lot to offer so prepare yourself to explore this rich ecosystem full of game viewing opportunities. As dusk draws close, you will drive to the camp whilst enjoying the views of sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Upon entering Tarangire, you’ll begin your game drive across the stunning golden savannah surrounding the Tarangire River. This river is a crucial water source for wildlife throughout the year, especially during the dry season. The banks, lined with acacia and baobab trees, attract the park's large elephant herds as well as other herbivores like zebras and antelopes.

Enjoy a lunch with a view of the river at the lodge, rest a bit at the lodge before you go out again for an afternoon game drive.

As you continue exploring the park, you’ll have the chance to spot lions, leopards, cape buffalo, and an array of antelope species. With a bit of luck, you might even see rare animals like the Greater Kudu or the Fringe-Eared Oryx. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you’ll head to your accommodation for the night.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Today after breakfast you will head out for a full day game drive. Early in the morning when the sun illuminates the savannah, is the perfect time to witness predators in action, taking advantage of the low light and cooler temperatures to hunt for their morning meal. Look out for lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as the early movements of wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores. This is also an opportunity to go for an optional balloon ride that ends with Champagne breakfast in the midst of Serengeti.


Your driver will choose the best route based on the season and the wildlife you’re eager to see, maximizing your chances of encountering the diverse animals of the Serengeti. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide you with the ultimate in-game viewing opportunities. Serengeti is home to the great migration over the huge flat plains, you are likely to come across predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and many other small predators. You will have lunch with the great view of the horizon in one of the designated picnic sites. After a successful day of game viewing, you will drive back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Masai Visit and Mto wa Mbu Cultural activities

After breakfast, you will head out for thew morning game drive with your parked lunch later afternoon you’ll head to a Maasai village for a unique and immersive experience. This visit offers a close-up view of the daily lives of one of Africa’s most iconic ethnic groups. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with villagers, participate in activities such as milking cows, and try on traditional Maasai attire. Following your time in the village, you’ll drive to Mto wa Mbu, a lively and diverse village home to people from over 120 tribes. The vibrant community showcases a rich tapestry of languages and customs. Here, you’ll visit a local market, interact with residents, and sample fresh fruit. The village offers a chance to meet farmers, artists, and artisans. You might also try a local banana beer for a distinct local flavour. You will the drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 8: Fly to Arusha

After breakfast at the camp, you will transfer to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Arusha, upon touch down, you will be transfer to hotel for day room use and restaurant in Arusha before you being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flights.
